How to Find Your RFC Using Your CURP
Taxes
Already have a CURP but don't know your RFC? Mexico's SAT has an online tool that lets you check whether your CURP is already associated with an RFC and, if so, see your RFC number. You do not need to visit a SAT office or upload documents for this lookup.
Applies to: Anyone who already has a Mexican CURP and needs to find their associated RFC. Your RFC — Registro Federal de Contribuyentes — is your Mexican federal taxpayer registration number. This guide is for finding an RFC that may already be associated with your CURP, not for completing a new RFC registration.

How To Do It

- 1Enviar means Submit. SAT will validate the information against your CURP.
- SAT may show an error if a required field is missing, the postal code is not five digits, the CAPTCHA is incorrect, or the information does not match SAT's records.
Step 4 — Get your result
- 1If the information matches and your CURP is already associated with an RFC, SAT will display your RFC.
- If SAT cannot validate the information, it may show a message saying the validation information is incorrect. This does not necessarily mean you don't have an RFC — it may mean the information entered does not match what SAT has on file.
