How to pay your CAPA water bill in Tulum
Pay your CAPA water bill online through CAPANet using your contract number, or in person at the Tulum CAPA office for expired bills and account issues.

Understand it
You need your CAPA contract number (numero de contrato) and the municipality (Tulum) to pay online as a guest.
A registered CAPANet account is optional. It lets you link multiple contracts, view statements and download receipts.
CAPA services and forms are primarily in Spanish.
Do it
- Open the CAPANet website.
- Choose Pago Directo / Continuar como invitado. An account is not required for a direct payment.
- Enter your CAPA contract number and select Tulum as the municipality.
- Review the amount due.
- Complete the available payment process.
- Save your confirmation or receipt.
Done
Keep your payment confirmation. Your balance is cleared when CAPA shows no amount due. Registered users can download receipts from CAPANet at any time.
Other ways to pay
CAPANet apps are available for Android and iOS if you prefer to pay from your phone.
You can also pay in person at the Tulum CAPA office. This is useful for expired bills, disputed amounts or account-holder changes.
Bank transfer is possible, but CAPA instructs customers to contact the local office after transferring so the payment can be correctly applied.
If your bill has expired
Bill already expired?
CAPA's CAPANet FAQ says expired bills cannot be paid through CAPANet. Pay at the collection window of the local CAPA office, or wait for the next billing cycle.
Buying or selling property?
Do not rely only on someone saying the CAPA account is current. CAPA issues a formal Carta / Constancia de No Adeudo confirming no outstanding balance.
Older CAPA debt (DRAEF)
Have a much older CAPA debt?
For 2026, CAPA has a program for certain debts older than 18 months transferred through DRAEF. Payment arrangements and reductions in some fines may be available. This is not the normal process for an ordinary late bill.
